These weekly sessions allow you to gain confidence in learning to sew your own clothes - whether you’re new to sewing or you’d like to polish up your skills and create a professional finish!
You'll learn how to measure yourself, decide which size and fabric to pick and you can choose your project and decide which new skills you’d like to focus on to start sewing your own wardrobe!
You'll also receive a booklet with all the information you're learning in class, so you can carry on with confidence at home! And have access to our new community platform - a space to ask questions and connect with other makers!
Beginner level - however, we require that you already know how to thread and use a sewing machine. You can check out our Learn To Sew workshop or Contact Us to arrange a 1:1 beforehand.
You'll learn how to:
Take your own measurements
Read a pattern and decide which size to cut
Follow sewing instructions and think about the order of construction
Create a professional finish
Gain confidence in using a sewing machine and overlocker
Start sewing your own clothes so you can continue at home!
Tools and Equipment
Plenty of Hand Sanitizer and Wipes!
Feel free to bring your own equipment if you'd prefer!
